The FREDA Principles form the foundation of a Human Rights based approach to healthcare. The FREDA Principles are known to underpin all human rights treaties and are in alignment with the Human Rights Act 1998 and Equality Act 2010. Understanding and implementing FREDA principles in our day to day business protects the human rights of our clients.

The FREDA Principles are:

Fairness - Your point of view is always to be valued and respected.

Respect - Your rights, values, beliefs and property are respectfully treated.

Equality - Everyone is treated fairly and without discrimination.

Dignity - Your uniqueness is valued and treated with compassion and empathy.

Autonomy - Your right to choose, and preferences are respected.
